Mandalay

The last capital of the Myanmar Kingdom. Mandalay is the second capital of Myanmar known as the center of Myanmar culture. Rich in traditional dance, music. Also noted for gold & silver craft. Marble and wood carvings, silk weaving & ancient tapestry.
The world’s largest book, Kuthodaw pagoda is the complete Buddhist scriptures in scribed on 729 stone slabs surrounding the Pagoda.
Day trip within Mandalay will lead you Sagaing the country’s living center of Buddhist faith. At the north of sagaing lies Mingun . Accessible by river, it louses the biggest ringing bell in the world at 90 Tons.

Ava


After short ferry ride about five minutes across the Myitnge River, will reach Ava.
The Ancient city of Ava lies within its original fortress stonewall. And visit around the royal capital of Ava.Monastic education in Bagayar monastery (Teak wood) is really great for the country children by chief monk. Another interesting site is home industry of black food container for monks. It is only one place in Myanmar. It is made of bamboo and lacquered.
Some are made of metal. All the monks in Myanmar carrying their black alms bowls, alms rounds through the villages and towns on bare food early every morning. The devotees pay respect to fill their bowls with rice and food.
